Jim received his undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He obtained his Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) in 1994. Jim currently serves on the Henderson County Partnership for Economic Development (the Partnership) board, including Past Chair, as well as currently serving as President of the Blue Ridge Community College Educational Foundation Board. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for Blue Ridge Community College. He has served on the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce board of directors, the United Way of Henderson County board of directors as well as a member of the Henderson County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council. Jim has been with Morrow Insurance since 1997 and has been CEO since 2016. Jim enjoys hiking, kayaking and fishing.
