Marsh Dark received his undergraduate degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, holds a Master’s degree in insurance from Georgia State University and also holds a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Marsh is past president of both the Marion Rotary Club and of the McDowell Chamber of Commerce. He has served as chair-person for The McDowell Hospital board of directors and was a volunteer fire fighter of 20 years for the Marion Fire Department. Currently, Marsh is serving on the boards of The McDowell Community Endowment and for McDowell Technical College Foundation. He is a third generation insurance agent who began his career in the industry in 1980.
